Bp 8

1.Pyramids of Giza, Egypt
2.Acropolis, Pantheon, Greece
3.The coliseum, Rome
4.Cologne Cathedral, Gothic Era
5.The Tempietto of San Pietro in Montorio, Rome

Throughout the centuries architectural styles and trends have changed but in many ways hold true through the connections between them. The Pyramids of Giza demonstrate power and point towards the sky in efforts to point towards the power. The Acropolis is very symmetrical and sits at an angle to make it appear larger, the coliseum is very circular and takes up a large area of the landscape. The cologne cathedral take height to new heights, and The Tempietto of San Pietro shows the power of a dome. All of these historical architectural buildings are brought together in the way they demonstrate power, and spirituality through their extreme features in mass and great heights.
